Where are you located?
We started as an online platform but as we grew, more and more people wanted to meet us and visit our showroom. So, this is what we did. We have opened a showroom in Kramerville, Sandton and a showroom in the Design Quarter, Fourways.
Most of our products are kept in stock and we have a selection of our items available to view in our showrooms. We keep samples of all our wood finishes, fabric swatches and leather samples available for you to choose from. Our colleagues are happy to assist with any furniture question you might have. Please let us know when you would like to come over and meet our team.
Your showroom is not near me, what can I do?
Our website allows you to easily order, our beautifully designed furniture, online. We are happy to answer questions, place orders, offer our product expertise, or anything else that strikes your fancy.

We do not have a store in Durban. We have two showrooms in Johannesburg. View our showroom locations.

We have updated our delivery policy for Cape Town, we now have a very quick lead time of only 7-14 working days for your delivery. We charge only R499 for your order to be delivered directly to your doorstep!

Order questions
Can I make changes to my order after placing it?
Once an order has been placed, it is automatically dropped into our warehouse queue and is not able to be edited.
If you contact us within 24 hours of placing your order, we can cancel your order and we can re-place it with the correct details.
If you need to cancel your order after it’s been placed, please reach out to us immediately at support@furniturespot.co.za
Do you offer cash on delivery?
We do not offer cash on delivery. Your order will be dispatched within 7 days after we have received your payment. We do not ship your order if we have not received your full payment.
Please note, we only reserve stock for your order once payment is received.
What types of payment does Furniturespot accept?
We accept Direct EFT, Mastercard & VISA and regular EFT. If you are using EFT please send a Proof of Payment to eft@furniturespot.co.za with your invoice number as a reference. We also offer credit via third parties such as MobiCred, Fasta and PayFlex. Choose your preferred credit facility during checkout.
PayFlex – pay back in four interest-free instalments (max 6 weeks). With PayFlex you pay no interest and no fees. You pay 25% upfront, then three payments of 25% over the following six weeks.
Fasta – pay back in 1-3 monthly instalments (max 3 months). With Fasta you pay back in one, two or three monthly instalments.
Mobicred – pay back in 1-12 monthly instalments (max 12 months). With MobiCred you pay back in one or up to twelve monthly instalments.

Why is my credit card payment not going through?
There might be a couple of reasons why your credit card payment is not going through.
- You entered the wrong passcode.
- You have reached your daily limit.
- There is no internet connection.
- There is not enough credit left on your credit card.
- You are using an invalid credit card.
- You are using a credit card we do not support (Diners Club, American Express).

Do you offer financing options?
We offer credit via third parties such as MobiCred, Fasta and PayFlex. Choose your preferred credit facility during checkout. We do offer a lay-by option where you can save up for your dream room. More information.

Why is my request for credit not going through?
We offer credit via third parties such as MobiCred, Fasta and PayFlex. It is to the discretion of these companies to approve your credit request. Furniturespot does not have control over your credit request.
Do you offer lay-by options?
We do offer lay-by options. Save up for your dream room using our 3 or 6 month Lay-by options. 3-month terms are payable over the following instalments: 40% in the first month and 30% in month 2 and 3. 6-month terms are payable over the following instalments:40% in the first month and 12% in month 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. Our payment gateways only use the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no credit card details are stored on the website.

Can I collect my order?
We at Furniturespot do our best to guarantee high quality furniture products for a very competitive price. To be able to accomplish this, we unfortunately cannot offer the collection of your order.
Is it possible to track my order?
Our Furniturespot team will keep you updated on the status of your order and when we are ready to deliver, we will contact you to arrange an appointment.

Do you offer white glove delivery?
Our friendly delivery staff will place your items in the requested room, unwrap it and give it a nice wipe down. We also will take the wrapping material with us for upcycle purposes, if requested to.
Please note that in some areas, e.g. farms, high-risk or other remote villages that may not be serviced by us, we cannot always guarantee this service.
Do you offer an assembly service?
Most of our furniture items do not require assembly. We do offer an assembly service, at an extra fee, for those items that require assembly. Please note we only offer our assembly service in the Gauteng region.

I am unhappy with my product, the size is wrong, what can I do?

Our return policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have past after delivery, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund. Please note that refunds are not possible on items on sale. If there is an error Furniturespot will always rectify the fault.
To start your return process, get in touch with our team via support@furniturespot.co.za. We will set you up with everything you need for the return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable):
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery.
- Items on sale cannot be returned.
The returned item will be inspected within 72 hours of arriving at our warehouse. Once we’ve determined it is in as-new condition, our team will process your return and issue a refund. All items need to be returned to our warehouse.
Please note it may take up to 25 business days for your refund to appear in your South African bank account.
RETURN SHIPPING FEES
You will be responsible to pay the shipping costs when returning your item. If you decide to return your Furniturespot item(s), we will refund the purchase price less the return shipping fee.

We love our furniture, and we want you to also. When we ship our products, we pack them very carefully to avoid shipping damages. We ask that you place your returned item in its original packaging.
RETURNS MUST BE IN AS NEW CONDITION
We are only able to accept returned product in as-new condition. Products with scratches, stains, damages, drilling, or other modifications cannot be returned.
SALE ITEMS
Any item marked as “Sale” at the time of transaction is not covered by our return policy. Sale items can be exchanged. Please refer to our ‘Exchange’ section for more information.
Can I exchange my order?
We offer an exchange of the product within 14 days of delivery.
To exchange an item, get in touch with our team via support@furniturespot.co.za. They will note the piece(s) you’d like to exchange, and work with our delivery team to coordinate a pick-up and drop off date. Exchanges are always subject to product availability at the time of the request for exchange.
In the event you exchange for an item that costs less than your initial purchase, the difference will be refunded back to you. Please note it may take up to 25 business days for your refund to appear in your South African bank account.
Should you choose to exchange for an item that costs more than your original choice, the customer care agent will help you organize your exchange and will process your outstanding charge.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

Can I cancel my order?

We will also guarantee that the material is free of degradation resulting from other than ordinary residential wear and tear for 6 months from the date of purchase, based on reasonable use.
Warranties do not apply to:
1) Defects that result from negligence, misuse, accidents or commercial use by you.
2) Any condition resulting from incorrect or inadequate maintenance, cleaning or care.
3) Any condition resulting from other than ordinary residential wear or from any use for which the product was not designed.
4) The colour fastness, dye lot variations, wrinkling, or wear of fabrics or leather.
5) The softening of filling materials under normal use.
If you’re experiencing a warranty issue, get in touch with our team via support@furniturespot.co.za. We will work to address the issue and ensure that the product is good as new. This may involve shipping your replacement parts, organizing repair, or a complete replacement (at our discretion).

Care and maintenance topics
How do I take care of my wooden furniture item?
Wood and engineered wood are both materials sensitive to light. We’d recommend that you avoid leaving anything on the surfaces for the first 6-8 weeks, if they’re exposed to sunlight. This should help you avoid any marks or rings appearing if the furniture lightens in the sun.
How do I clean my wooden furniture item?
A damp (never soaking wet) cloth will do it. Dry the surfaces thoroughly afterwards. Both wood and engineered wood can be damaged by liquids, so if you spill anything on it, be sure to wipe it dry immediately. If you need to remove any stains, go gently – use mild soap and warm water.
How do I take care of my fabric furniture item?
Upholstered furniture will lighten over time if it’s exposed to direct sunlight, so be careful where you place your furniture pieces. To keep seat cushions looking their best and to help them wear evenly, be sure to regularly turn them. Give foam, feather or fibre-filled cushions a shake as often as possible to help them keep their shape.
How do I clean my fabric furniture item?
For stains, spot clean with a very mild detergent such as green soap. We do not advise cleaning with heavy bleach solutions. For hair or debris, simply use a lint roller or vacuum.
How do I clean my velvet furniture item?
If you yourself dealing with a spill, don’t fret! Because of its dense top layer, stains don’t immediately sink into velvet like you see with other fabrics. You should have a few seconds to grab something to dab the spill with before it absorbs into the material fully. For spot cleaning, we recommend the following steps:
As soon as a spill occurs, wipe it away with a cloth or paper towel.
(If the spill, dropped food or contaminant becomes hardened, it is recommended to gently scrape away the hardened substance before applying a cleaning solution.)
Dilute approximately 20 parts lukewarm water with a mild soap or detergent, and use a white cloth to rub the area with the cleaning solution.
Rinse the area using a second white cloth with clean lukewarm water; then allow the area to air dry completely.
Once dry, we recommend using a very soft brush to gently brush the area in the direction of the nap to return the surface to its original condition.
How do I take care of my leather furniture item?
Our leather, like all leather, should be kept out of direct sunlight, if possible. Sunlight can cause discoloration over time. Regular dusting should be enough to keep the material in good shape.
How do I clean my leather furniture item?
In the case of a spill, dab at any liquid with an absorbent cloth. If necessary, wipe it with a damp, lukewarm cloth and let it air dry. Don’t use any solvents, soaps, or other cleaning agents, even ones that are made for leather. Don’t use a hair dryer, either.
